OUR DESIGN PROCESS

PHASE ONE

Design

Consultation

During this initial consultation, we’ll meet at the property to do an on-site walk-through and gain a better understanding of your project. We’ll discuss both the goals and challenges of your space and what you envision as the final result. During this meeting, it’s often helpful to start discussing budget, expectations, and share any inspirational imagery.

Following our initial consultation, we’ll put together a detailed proposal outlining the entire scope of the project, anticipated design fees, and a breakdown of the design process. Once the contract is executed, we require a deposit — based on a percentage of the total budget — before work is commenced.

LETTER OF
AGREEMENT

PHASE THREE

DESIGN PHASE

At the beginning of the project, we’ll develop a detailed programming plan, in addition to measuring and photographing the existing conditions of your space. From there, we’ll work on construction and furniture plans, as we begin sourcing furniture, fixtures, and materials. During this phase, we’ll work very closely to ensure our design is an authentic reflection of your style.

Once you’ve approved our design plans, we provide comprehensive construction documents and a detailed redesign narrative, which are used to obtain contractor quotes. We’ll recommend several contractors that we believe are a great fit for your project, but we’re also happy to work with one of your choosing.

PHASE FIVE

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

& REVEAL

Once on-site work is underway, we’ll thoroughly manage your project with responsiveness and attentiveness from start to finish. During construction, our oversight includes regular site visits to monitor progress and establish quality control, consistent client communication on project status, and regular contractor contact to ensure your project is unfolding exactly as planned. When the final detail is complete, we’ll oversee all aspects of installation to ensure your space is perfectly styled before the final reveal.
