The best rooms have something to say about the people who live in them.
- David Hicks
As an artist at heart, Serena Brosio’s enthusiasm for visual storytelling is what first drew her to the world of design. Following successful executive careers in advertising and film, she sought to pursue an untapped creative passion by enrolling in the Master of Interior Architecture program offered collaboratively by UCLA and Cal Poly Pomona.
Serena later gained a position at the prestigious Darrell Schmitt Design Associates, where she had the opportunity to work on some of Southern California’s most distinguished properties, including Montage Beverly Hills, The Resort at Pelican Hill and Hotel Casa del Mar. That experience eventually led Serena to launch her own firm, where she’s designed residential and commercial spaces for more than 15 years.
Known for her tasteful yet approachable elegance and decidedly fresh aesthetic, Serena continues to explore her passion for storytelling with design that’s directly inspired by the stories of her clients. Reflecting her ongoing commitment to green building practices and sustainability, Serena achieved a LEED AP for Interior Design + Construction professional credential to better combine the rich beauty of the past with the ever-changing innovations of the present.
Throughout her career, Serena has become a believer that good design offers a distinct point of view — a notion that characterizes each project she touches.
